Pittsburgh – The Pittsburgh Steelers have played their first preseason game at Acrisure Stadium with a
crowd of 48,197 fans in the seats this past Saturday night.. The quarter back competition has
gotten even more complicated.
All three quarterbacks performed very well in the game. In the
first quarter Mitch Trubisky started. On the first drive of the game Trubisky kept moving his
group down the field for a touchdown. You could see the experience shine through as Mitch
Trabisky made plays with confidence and precision.
Mason Rudolph also had a great game. He did have some challenges from the Seahawks defense, but was able to move his group down field for a touchdown.
All ready a fan favorite, Rookie quarterback Kenny Pickett did not disappoint
and demonstrated that he can take his game to the NFL level. As soon as Kenny walked out
onto the field the fans went incredibly wild. In Kenny’s first appearance he had a smooth drive
that ended with a 3 yard touchdown, giving fans what they have been wanting to see.
Kenny continued to impress In the fourth quarter with the score tied and with one minute, 7 seconds on the clock Kenny made 5 plays and 43 yards and saved the day with a game winning touchdown. Right now It looks like The Pittsburgh Steelers have 3 capable quarterbacks. It will be interesting to see how all three of them build on the opportunities that they had this weekend. that at camp this week. We did get a chance to hear from both Coach Tomlin and Mitch
