PITTSBURGH – The Steelers are making sure that they continue to have the most acurate NFL Kicker in the League. The Steelers just signed kicker Chris Boswell to a new five-year contract. Chris Boswell currently ranks as the second in NFL history in field goal percentage 88 percent with at least 200 field goal attempts, owns franchise records in career field goal percentage 88 percent, single-season field goal percentage 95 percent in the 2020 season, Boswell has made 25 consecutive field goals in the 2019-2020 season and single-season field goals were 36 for 2021. Chris Boswell has made 17-of-21 field goal attempts in his NFL career from a distance of 50 yards or beyond. This is the most in Pittsburgh Steelers franchise history. Boswell, has played in 104 NFL games over his seven-years with the NFL.
