The 12 Annual Race for Grace took place this past Saturday at Norwin High School. The day began with early morning registrations, warm-ups for runners, Opening activities that included, The Singing of our national anthem, a blessing, some emotionally powerful words and the Traditional singing of Amazing Grace. Since it began 12 years ago, Race for Grace has grown to become a yearly Pittsburgh tradition that now draws over 3000 participants.
Saturday’s event continued throughout the afternoon with a hair donation ceremony, where hair is cut and donated to cancer patients. In another part of the school, we walked through a gymnasium full of over 500 kids who were enjoying a wide variety of fun creative activities and games. There was also a Speed Painting demonstration, a DJ, Several Dance performances and so many other activities to experience. Now we want to leave you with a video from our Finish Line Camera.
