Steelers running back James Conner was named AFC Offensive Player of the Week

PITTSBURGH — Steelers running back James Conner was named AFC Offensive Player of the Week for his Week Eight performance, it was announced today.
Conner rushed for 146 yards, and added 5 receptions for 66 yards, and two rushing touchdowns, in the team’s 33-18 win over the Cleveland Browns. It was Conner’s third straight game with at least 100 rushing yards and two touchdowns.
This is the first time Conner has been named AFC Offensive Player of the Week in his NFL career.
