PITTSBURGH — The Steelers have signed linebacker Robert Spillane to a one-year contract. it was announced today.
Spillane played in 12 games and started seven contests last season. He missed the last four weeks of the regular season due to injury. Spillane still registered 43 tackles, 37 solo stops, four for loss, four passes defensed, three QB hits, 2.0 sacks, one fumble recovery and one interception, which he returned 33 yards for a TD at Baltimore in Week 8. Spillane also added two tackles on special teams.
