Laurel Ballet’s production of “The Nutcracker” at The Palace in Greensburg, PA is the only one in the Pittsburgh area performed with a full live orchestra. The Orchestra will be The Westmoreland Symphony Orchestra. So many students from local area schools will be a part of the production.

Celebrating the 25th Anniversary of his inaugural performance with Laurel Ballet in 1994, veteran performer and Greensburg audience favorite John Noble will be enchanting as the mysterious Uncle Drosselmeyer. Texture Contemporary Ballet’s founder and artistic director Alan Obuzor will return as the Snow Queen’s and Sugar Plum Fairy’s cavalier, and Aaron Bellofatto, also of Texture Contemporary Ballet, will star as the Prince.
Portraying the Rat King and Prince’s Champion in a thrilling sword fight are fencing masters Vince Beatty and Bogdan Haiko of the Corsair Fencing Club.
