Coach Tomlin addressed the media today after practice concerning the upcoming game against the Titans.  He says that The Steelers are excited to play at Heinz Field for the first time this season. Coach says that Ben Rothlisberger and Landry Jones are scheduled to play in game. Coach Tomlin told us that the Titans present a good challenge that the Steelers Defense needs in preparation for the regular season. The Titan’s Quarterback Marcus Mariota has excellent passing abilities and mobility that is going to challenge The Steelers defense in a lot of ways.

Some players worked at a limited capacity this week and Coach Tomlin says he will “leave the light on for those guys on Saturday and make a decision at the 11th hour. The players he was referring to are Antonio Brown, Morgan Burnett, Dan McCullers, and TJ Watt.

Vance McDonald has been working his way through an injury this week and is getting closer to partial participation.

When asked about how Ben Roethlisberger’s recent praise by the Offensive coordinator. Coach Tomlin said “I agree with him. It’s been a good process for him and coming ready has a lot to do with it in terms of conditioning and mind, body, and spirit.
