Animal Protectors of Allegheny Valley Are Getting a New Home

Construction and renovation begins to create a new facility for Animal Protectors of Allegheny Valley. Animal Protectors of Allegheny Valley is a non-profit no kill animal shelter located in New Kensington Pennsylvania. Once the new 10,000 square feet facility is complete, The 53-year-old rescue and adoption organization will provide improved services to more dogs, cats and their prospective adoptive households. We spoke with Doctor Betsy Kennon a Fox Chapel /Aspenwall resident and retired veterinarian who volunteers professional medical services to dogs and cats at Animal Protectors of Allegheny Valley. Doctor Kennon told us how much of a difference that the new facility will make.
